Meet the maker

In 2015 Suwarti, a housewife, started looking for extra income. She learned to make kue putar from a friend. The first batch wasn't tasty, the second wasn't crisp, the third was better, and the fourth finally worked. Today she makes three products: kue putar, shallot crackers and savoury sticks.
