Meet the maker
The Teh Min story begins in 1997, when the maker's parents came to Papua through the transmigration programme and planted sesame. The harvest was abundant, so they made sesame nougat (noga wijen) and left it at kiosks and sold it at the market. The business paused for a while, then was revived by their daughter after she started her own family, guided by her mother. From noga wijen, the Teh Min brand now also makes kue susu, kue putar, banana chips, cassava chips and more.
